First "Caddie-Me" Classic on Hilton Head. It was
a tremendous success and we are scheduling the event for 1999.
Everyone will be able to participate so mark your calendars.
It will be the first Monday after the Masters in 1999. Proceeds
from this event will go to support your foundation.
The establishment of the Lucas Thompson Foundation. The foundation
will assist children who have catastrophic health problems
that are two years and younger whose families need assistance
in meeting the medical costs of these tragic events.
A pilot film "In the Ruff" Featuring Dennis Cone
as the caddie master and the caddies from Rancho San Marcos.
It is a great piece and we are in the process of assisting
in the Marketing of the film to the Golf Channel and other
sources.
Montana Thompson appeared at the Clubs Hall of Fame, where
he spoke to 100 caddies at the Birmingham Country Club in
Bloomfield Hills, MI. It was the first time a caddie from
the association was paid to do a presentation and everyone
who attended the event was enthusiastic and rerceptive for
his presentation. |

radio shows, one in Canada, Colorado and Texas. Numerous articles
in local regional and national publications throughout the
United States. Press release announcing the caddie certification
program with Jan Stephenson and Phil Ritson. Featured at Media
Night at the PGA Championship, They spoke in front of two
Hundred media representatives from all over the world.
We have revised our website caddyshack.org, to pcaworldwide.com,
and scores of visitors are surfing over and signing up to
be members of the PCA Worldwide. Thank you for your continued
support Marriott Vacation Club International.
We have applied for a grant from the USGA for the PCA apprenticeship
school, which will be available on the internet the first
quarter of 1999. We should get confirmation of the grant funds
in the next few months, so keep your fingers crossed. We have
big plans for the caddie school.
Our membership has grown to over 1000 in the past few years.
We are in the process of sending out information and applications
to clubs and to Caddie Master Enterprises.
We are looking forward to a very successful year as 1999 progresses.
